Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Analyze production workflows and develop efficient process layouts using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in manufacturing processes and implement corrective actions.
- Design and optimize assembly lines, tooling, and fabrication processes to enhance productivity.
- Program and troubleshoot robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, and vision inspection systems.
- Develop schematics and technical drawings for industrial equipment, tooling, and system integration.
- Support process engineering initiatives including plastics injection molding, welding, CNC programming, and CAM programming.
- Lead projects involving lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ISO 9001 standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Utilize factory experience to streamline operations, improve mechanical systems, and enhance overall factory performance.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to support fabrication, assembly line optimization, and industrial equipment maintenance.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Strong background in process engineering, factory layout design, and project scheduling.
- Demonstrated expertise with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo for designing schematics and layouts.
- Hands-on experience programming robotics, PLCs, CNC machines, or vision inspection systems.
- Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes and tooling design.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement strategies.
- Mechanical engineering background with understanding of assembly lines, fabrication techniques, and industrial equipment maintenance.
- Experience working under ISO 9001 standards or similar quality management systems is preferred.
