As a Verizon Sales Associate, you serve as a trusted technology advisor to East Brunswick, NJ customers. The Verizon Sales Associate's expertise spans Verizon's enterprise solutions, including 5G Business Internet, IoT platforms, and managed security, alongside residential services like whole-home Wi-Fi and smart automation.
Core Functions of the Verizon Sales Associate
- Drive sales growth by promoting Verizon’s enterprise‑grade 5G, fiber‑optic internet, SD‑WAN, and residential FiOS/wireless solutions to diverse customer segments.
- Educate business and residential customers on Verizon’s full product suite, highlighting speed, reliability, and value to influence purchasing decisions.
- Identify and assess customer needs to recommend customized Verizon service bundles that maximize connectivity, security, and overall performance.
- Manage the complete sales cycle across various markets, from prospecting and presentations to closing transactions and exceeding activation targets.
- Apply promotions and incentives strategically to resolve inquiries, secure commitments, and strengthen long‑term customer relationships.
- Ensure compliance and accuracy by auditing account documentation, verifying enrollments, and maintaining precision across Verizon’s sales platforms.
Education & Experience Needed for the Verizon Sales Associate
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in customer support, retail, sales, or account management within telecommunications, consumer electronics, or subscription‑based services.
- Previous experience as a Verizon Sales Associate is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to present Verizon’s enterprise‑grade 5G, fiber‑optic internet, and residential FiOS/wireless solutions while building trust with diverse customers.
- Proficiency in sales platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital tools to track KPIs, streamline workflows, and ensure compliance accuracy.
