Job Summary
The Brand Specialist is the face of FLX Extracts at dispensary pop-up events. This role is responsible for the full pop-up experience from start to finish: setting up an eye-catching product display, engaging with customers, educating them on our brands and product lines, tracking sales performance during the event, and breaking down the setup. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and passionate about creating a memorable in-store experience that drives product sales.
Responsibilities
Pop-Up Setup & Presentation
- Arrive at the dispensary on time and fully prepared with all display materials, signage, and product samples.
- Set up a visually appealing, on-brand product display that draws customer attention and reflects the quality of our brands.
- Maintain the display throughout the event, keeping it clean, organized, and stocked.
- Break down and pack all materials at the conclusion of the event.
Customer Engagement & Brand Education
- Greet and engage with dispensary customers in a friendly, approachable manner.
- Educate customers on FLX Extracts’ brand portfolio, including product types, strain profiles, effects, and differentiators.
- Answer customer questions confidently and guide them toward products that fit their preferences.
- Build rapport with dispensary staff and management to strengthen the FLX Extracts relationship.
Sales Tracking & Reporting
- Track all products sold during the pop-up event, including SKUs, quantities, and revenue.
- Record customer feedback, common questions, and product preferences observed during the event.
- Submit a post-event summary to the Director of Business Operations, including sales data and qualitative observations.
- Identify trends and opportunities to improve future pop-up performance.
Qualifications
- Outgoing, personable demeanor with a genuine ability to connect with people.
- Strong verbal communication skills and comfort speaking with customers in a retail environment.
- Attention to detail in product presentation, sales tracking, and event logistics.
- Ability to quickly learn and retain detailed product knowledge across multiple brands and SKUs.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to dispensary locations across New York State.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
Work Location: On the road
