As a member of the Java Platform group, you will:
Contribute to various areas of the platform, including the evolution of the Java Language and its specification, the Java Virtual Machine, Java libraries, and Java tools.
Develop the most advanced and secure programming platform.
Collaborate with a team focused on advancing core technologies within the Oracle Corporate Architecture organization, supporting the development of autonomous, secure, and intelligent Oracle Cloud solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related science/engineering field.
- High Proficiency in Java and/or C, C++.
- Experience or coursework in three or more of the following areas are mandatory:
- Operating Systems Internals – Design and Implementation
- Multithreaded/Multi-Core Programming
- Compiler Architecture and/or Program Translation
- Ability to thrive and grow in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong design, implementation, and collaboration skills within a distributed engineering team.
- Familiarity with AI programming and design principles.

As a member of the Java library software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of the Java Programing Language as well as standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing language features and software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
