BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Project Manager position. The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida and remote work is currently allowed.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with other agencies to secure funding in support of the application of Health Information Exchange (HIE) to public health use cases.
Develop revenue projections based on anticipated funding and the schedule of anticipated HIE public health and EHR initiatives.
Perform outreach to HIE Participants by functioning as the point-of-contact with external organizations to coordinate engagements for the initiation patient data exchange and troubleshooting of existing connection.
Facilitate the adoption of HIE to support public health use cases.
Develop weekly and monthly Project Management reports detailing the accomplishments, issues and task progression of the project as directed in timeframes established by the client.
Organize and conduct meetings with project staff, management and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines on a weekly, using the Microsoft Project or Microsoft Office application.
Correspond daily with project teams, project managers, internal and external stakeholders and agency executive management regarding project proposals, activities, deliverables, and status.
Ensure effective and efficient resource allocation of project activities through project planning, project organization and resource skillset assessment tools on a weekly basis. Communicate opportunities for improving resource utilization to management verbally or in written form utilizing Microsoft Office tools.
- Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute and in good standing.
Two years of experience implementing Health Information Exchange (HIE) Public Health-specific use cases.
Experience working with a Qualified Health Information Network and an understanding of the application of the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement to Public Health.
5 years of experience managing projects for Florida Government Agencies requiring direct oversight of Florida Legislative bodies.
5 years of experience developing and maintaining detailed project plans (work breakdown structures).
5 years of experience leading project teams and effectively conducting projects to meet objectives.
5 years of experience delivering projects in the agreed schedule, to the correct technical specification (i.e. defined to meet user requirements) within the approved budget and other specified criteria.
