Primary Responsibilities:
1) Make outreach to members, pharmacies and providers to address quality related gaps in care. Use critical thinking skills to determine reasons for the quality gaps and follow through with steps to close the gaps.
2) Field pharmacy related questions from health plan members and health plan staff; appropriately escalate concerns to management in a timely manner.
3) Assist with projects such as claim trouble shooting, issue tracking, system configuration, vendor management and other project related tasks.
4) Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional, and courteous manner.
Preferred Experience and Licensure:
2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy, pharmacy department of a health plan or Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM)
Required Skills:
Exceptional customer service and professionalism.
Must have knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication.
Must be self-motivated and willing to work effectively and efficiently.
Preferred:
Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License or Trainee license
