We are seeking a financial analyst to support the acquisition of real estate and non-performing loans across the U.S. and work closely with senior team members throughout the investment process. This position provides exposure to underwriting, due diligence, and asset acquisition in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and supports the Real Estate team across all aspects of the acquisition, underwriting, due diligence and closing process.
Primary Responsibilities
• Build and maintain detailed financial models of properties and portfolios in Argus Enterprise and Excel.
• Manage and track the deal pipeline, ensuring timely evaluation and prioritization of prospective investment opportunities.
• Conduct market research and maintain market data to assist in investment decisions.
• Prepare Investment Committee memos for external and internal audiences.
• Support due diligence efforts on new property acquisitions, including review of leases, surveys, financial operating histories, estoppels.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support day-to-day decision making.
• Assist in-house asset management personnel post-acquisition to ensure properties perform at highest level.
• Perform property site visits in various locations across the U.S.
Job Qualifications
• 1-2 years of experience in real estate acquisition, brokerage or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of commercial real estate and finance concepts
• Familiarity with financial accounting concepts
• Exceptional Microsoft Excel modeling skills; basic familiarity with Argus DCF / Enterprise software a plus
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects or tasks at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
