Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a .Net Back End Developer to join their team. As a .Net Back End Developer, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. What's the Job?
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET (primarily .NET Core/.NET 6+), supporting high-scale applications in a distributed environment.
- Enhance and support existing .NET standalone applications and web services, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and incremental refactoring.
- Participate in migration initiatives by converting select .NET components and services to Go (Golang), ensuring seamless functionality, performance, and maintainability during transitions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, platform engineering) to implement features, integrate with MongoDB for data persistence, and ensure robust service interactions.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices, applying domain-driven design principles where applicable.
What's Needed?
- 8+ years of professional experience developing backend applications with C# and .NET (Core preferred), including web services and standalone applications.
- Proven hands-on experience with at least one project implementing services or applications in Go (Golang); ability to read, write, and maintain Go code for migration or greenfield work.
- Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps for Git repositories, work items, and basic pipeline interaction.
- Experience working with MongoDB (querying, schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines; administration not required).
- Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes deployments (understanding of manifests, deployments, services, and basic kubectl troubleshooting).
