Producers Midstream has an opportunity available at our Dallas Corporate office for Business Analyst. The Business Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining financial and operational models that support strategic planning for midstream assets, including gathering, processing, compression, transportation, and storage.

Duties And Responsibilities
Midstream Financial and Operational Modeling:
- Build, maintain, and refine models for midstream assets including gathering, processing, compression, transportation, and storage.
- Conduct throughput and volume forecasting, tariff modeling, fee‑structure sensitivities, and commercial scenario analysis.
- Support evaluation of contract economics, customer mix, utilization trends, and capital program impacts.
Data Analytics & Business Insights:
- Analyze commercial and operational datasets to identify trends, risks, and performance of drivers.
- Interpret market and basin‑level activity relevant to natural gas, NGL, and crude midstream infrastructure.
- Provide data‑driven insights that support decision‑making in commercial strategy, corporate planning, and financial forecasting.
Planning, Forecasting Business Planning & Cross-Functional Support:
- Contribute to annual budgets, long‑range planning, and periodic forecasting cycles.
- Partner with operations, finance, commercial, and accounting teams to verify assumptions and align model inputs.
- Assist in building dashboards, KPIs, and monthly performance reporting.
Reporting & Presentation
- Prepare clear, well‑structured analysis, presentations, and deliverables for leadership.
- Translate complex data and modeling outputs into understandable recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Data Analytics or related field.
- 2 - 3 years prior experience as an analyst in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, consulting, or a similar analytical environment.
- Strong Excel modeling proficiency (complex formulas, sensitivities, structured frameworks, scenario modeling).
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work with large datasets and synthesize key insights.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a group environment.
- Strong communication skills, especially in developing presentations and explaining analytical results.
- Exposure to midstream assets or oil & gas commercial concepts is helpful.
- Familiarity with valuation, forecasting, or cash flow modeling.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI/Tableau, or Python is helpful.
