Position Overview
First IT Solutions is seeking a contract AI Automation Specialist to help design and build practical AI-driven tools that improve internal operations and client workflows.
This role focuses on applying modern AI platforms to real business problems such as workflow automation, document processing, knowledge systems, and operational efficiency.
The goal is not research or theory. The objective is to build useful solutions that save time, improve consistency, and help businesses operate more effectively.
Work will involve experimentation, rapid prototyping, and building small tools or integrations that deliver measurable value.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-assisted workflows to improve internal and client processes
- Build small automation tools that leverage modern AI platforms
- Integrate APIs and external services to connect systems and automate workflows
- Prototype solutions quickly and refine them based on feedback
- Develop scripts or lightweight applications to support automation initiatives
- Document solutions so they can be maintained and expanded
- Collaborate with the internal IT team to identify opportunities for automation
Ideal Experience
- Experience working with modern AI platforms or APIs
- Experience building automation using Python, scripting, or similar tools
- Familiarity with API integration and workflow automation
- Experience experimenting with tools such as LLM platforms, automation frameworks, or developer platforms
- Ability to quickly prototype and iterate on technical ideas
We are especially interested in candidates who can demonstrate working examples of tools or automation they have built.
