We are looking for an entry-level Financial Analyst to join our team in Rutherford, New Jersey. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for candidates who have strong numerical skills and a solid academic background in finance, accounting, economics, business, or mathematics. While the role is primarily remote, occasional in-office meetings may be required.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial data to calculate royalties and ensure accurate reporting.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions to manage, organize, and interpret large data sets.
• Perform detailed audits and reconciliations to ensure compliance with financial standards.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support organizational planning.
• Work with accounting software systems to track transactions and generate reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial issues and improve reporting efficiency.
• Conduct data mining and analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare and present financial summaries to stakeholders for decision-making purposes.
• Support capital management initiatives by monitoring expenses and returns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Mathematics is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data effectively.
• Knowledge of auditing, accrual accounting, and budget processes.
• Experience with data mining techniques and CRM systems is a plus.
