Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering principles and practices, with experience in project management and construction management. This role involves working on various infrastructure projects, ensuring that designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
We are looking for an individual with the following specific skills:
- Ability to prepare complex grading and drainage plans in Civil 3D
- Experience with hydrology and hydraulic calculations and report writing
- Familiarity with planning and development requirements
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with a proven track record of successful projects at a staff engineer level or equivalent
- Significant experience in leading routine projects and managing client relationships

Roles and Responsibilities
Project Design & Planning
- Develop detailed designs for infrastructure projects including roads, reservoirs, bridges, and water systems, customizing for projects as needed
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and environmental impact assessments
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports
Project Management
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for routine and complex projects
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, owners and other stakeholders
- Monitor construction progress and resolve any issues that arise
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct quality control inspections and tests on materials and workmanship
Technical Support
- Provide technical advice and support to clients and project teams
- Troubleshoot and solve engineering problems as they arise
- Develop detailed constructions notes
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of project work, including reports and documentation
- Prepare preliminary plan sets for agency submittal
- Complete technical and report writing
