Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer located in Portland, OR. You will be responsible for the full cycle of machine design, including concept generation, CAD, CAE, engineering calculations, trade studies, component and material sourcing, fabrication, assembly, installation and customer training. Your work may serve external clients or internal company needs.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Mechanical Engineering
- Extensive Machine Design experience (we want to see/hear about your projects)
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks experience preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years industry experience minimum
- Ability to work independently and effectively on a small team
- Happy to get your hands dirty in the shop
- Background in Robotics is a plus
