Saksoft Inc. is seeking a Software Developer to translate business requirements into technical designs and develop e-commerce features using Java, J2EE, and HCL Commerce (formerly IBM WebSphere Commerce). Design, develop, and maintain B2C e-commerce platforms using HCL Commerce subsystems, including Search, Order Management, Accounts Management (for business accounts), Customer Management (for individual customers), and Catalog. Integrate third-party systems, including tax, inventory, order management, and payment gateways (e.g., Aurus, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal) to ensure seamless data flow. Customize and extend HCL Commerce subsystems to meet business and operational requirements. Optimize search and data processing using Elasticsearch and Apache NiFi for improved performance and scalability. Enhance platform efficiency using Google Cloud auto-scaling, Redis caching, and Akamai CDN. Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, manage version control with Git, and utilize UC4/Automic for batch processing and job scheduling. Develop go-live plans for deployments and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and product managers, to ensure smooth implementation. Telecommuting and remote work permitted from anywhere in the U.S. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Domestic travel required approximately 100% of the time to various client sites.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in the related occupation of Software Engineer or equivalent using software technologies such as HCL Commerce, Java, J2EE, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Elasticsearch, Apache NiFi, Git, Jenkins, Redis, Akamai CDN, SOVOS (Tax), Active Omni, Manhattan Active Omni, Aurus, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal integration, UC4/Automic for batch processing and enterprise job scheduling, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and cross-functional team collaboration.
