Job description:
MSI Consulting is seeking an Entry-Level Consultant that supports project teams and client leadership by providing analytical, operational, and administrative support across consulting engagements. This role is ideal for early-career professionals interested in solving complex problems, supporting organizational operations, and gaining exposure to strategy, program management, and executive-level decision-making. Consultants in this role will contribute to client deliverables while also helping ensure the smooth day-to-day execution of client operations. The job is based in Washington DC, with minimal travel expected. On-site presence is required Monday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research, data analysis, and benchmarking to inform client recommendations and decision-making.
- Develop presentations, reports, briefing materials, and other client-ready deliverables.
- Support project management activities, including maintaining project trackers, coordinating team deliverables, and monitoring milestones.
- Provide operational and administrative support to client leadership, including scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, arranging travel, and preparing meeting agendas and materials.
- Draft talking points, briefing notes, and other communications for client executives and stakeholders.
- Gather and synthesize information from stakeholder interviews, workshops, and internal documentation.
- Assist with meeting coordination and facilitation, including capturing notes, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-up activities are completed.
- Contribute to problem-solving efforts by identifying insights, trends, and potential solutions.
- Collaborate with consulting team members to deliver high-quality work products in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, public policy, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools, particularly Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Calendar and Gmail.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated interest in consulting, strategy, operations, or public sector transformation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or academic experience involving research, analysis, program support, or consulting-style work.
- Experience coordinating meetings, events, or operational activities in a professional or academic setting.
