This is a high-impact, client-facing sales position responsible for structuring financing, presenting protection products, and ensuring every guest leaves confident in their purchase. Key Responsibilities:
- Structure and finalize vehicle financing and leasing deals to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Present and sell finance and insurance products, including extended service contracts, GAP coverage, and other protection products
- Partner with sales managers and sales consultants to support deal flow and optimize gross profit
- Guide customers through credit applications, financing options, and contract completion
- Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete, and compliant with dealership, lender, and legal requirements
- Maintain strong relationships with lenders and secure competitive financing terms
- Clearly explain financing terms, manufacturer programs, and dealership policies to customers
- Ensure timely collection of all funds and proper deal funding
- Stay compliant with all federal, state, and local regulations related to automotive finance (e.g., lending, privacy, and disclosure laws)
- Train and support sales staff on F&I products, processes, and benefits
- Maintain organized records and adequate supplies of all required documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of automotive sales experience (Finance & Insurance experience preferred)
- Proven track record of strong and consistent sales performance
- History of high customer satisfaction scores
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with dealership software systems and general computer skills
- Solid mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to think critically and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- High level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Schedule:
Finance Managers are scheduled to align with dealership hours to ensure a seamless and elevated client experience. This role includes a five-day workweek, Monday through Saturday, with one rotating weekday off (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) in addition to Sundays, when the dealership is closed.
Typical schedule:
Monday & Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Schedules may include a mix of open-to-close shifts and are designed to support both client needs and overall business flow.
