POSITION OVERVIEW: The Software Developer Intern will assist the Digital Product team with various tasks and projects, gaining hands-on experience in a professional software development environment. This role offers the opportunity to learn industry best practices, contribute to ongoing projects and documentation, and a chance to develop skills around software development. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for technology and a desire to grow in the fields of software development.
DURATION: June 8th – August 14th
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Testing and Documentation: Assist in testing and documenting ongoing software applications, tools, and projects to ensure quality and maintain accurate project records.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members across departments, including NBPA and THINK450, to complete assigned tasks and contribute to joint initiatives.
- Policy and Security Compliance: Learn and strictly adhere to company policies, procedures, and security protocols to maintain compliance and protect sensitive information.
- Project Support: Assist in the deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of software applications as needed.
- Technical Research: Conduct research on emerging technologies, tools, or best practices to support the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge Sharing: Document insights and learnings to help improve team processes and support knowledge transfer within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate (Junior/Senior) or Graduate student
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and network basics.
- Basic understanding of software development concepts and methodologies
- Previous coursework or experience in software development or IT-related tasks.
