Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Control Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing cost data to support strategic decision-making and improve financial efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong financial acumen, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze cost structures, variances, and trends across projects or operations
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts
- Monitor actual costs against budgets and investigate discrepancies
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations teams to optimize costs
- Develop and maintain cost models and reporting tools
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Prepare detailed reports and present findings to management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience in cost analysis, financial analysis, or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP or financial systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an asset
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of industry-specific costing methods (e.g., standard costing, activity-based costing)
