What You Will Do
- Work closely with Project Managers and Financial Management Team on accounting related matters from Project Start Up to Project Close Out.
- Process accounts payable, create owner billings, and manage accounts receivable.
- Review and communicate job cost and WIP reports.
- Assist in project and tax related audits.
- Administer, document and report financial information in an organized, detailed, and accurate manner.
- Oversee and execute team member payroll
What You Will Bring To Scorpio
- 2-year degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field; 4-year degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of prior accounting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Working knowledge of accounting specific software, such as Sage, QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principals.
