Job Summary:
SV Design is looking for a full-time professional, self-motivated, and highly organized Procurement Specialist to support our residential interior design team in our Beverly office. This role works closely with the design team to manage the procurement life cycle from specification to installation. The ideal candidate will manage FF&E purchasing, vendor communications, and delivery/install logistics across multiple high-end residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- Procure furniture, fabric, lighting, finishes, and accessories from various vendors
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle: purchase orders, lead time confirmations, shipping coordination, delivery tracking, and installation
- Maintain accurate and organized procurement documentation, including FF&E schedules, order trackers, and vendor records
- Coordinate closely with the design team to align procurement with project timelines and budgets
- Communicate with vendors regarding lead times, backorders, damages, and replacements
- Oversee delivery logistics, including white-glove services and installation coordination
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and freight as needed
- Manage accounts payable related to FF&E procurement, including tracking invoices, payment schedules, and coordination with accounting
- Assist with studio operations and internal coordination across projects
- Support bookkeeping and invoicing workflows
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in procurement within a high-end interior design or architecture practice preferred
- Accounts payable experience, with clear understanding of trade purchasing, managing vendors, payment terms and freight logistics,
- Familiarity with luxury furniture vendors, showrooms, and custom fabrication processes
- Proficiency in Studio Designer management software preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and professional vendor management
- Experience working in a fast-paced, design-driven studio environment
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- This is a full-time, in-office position. Must have reliable transportation
