Marketing CoordinatorThe Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of owned marketing channels (Email & SMS) while supporting paid media initiatives across velvet-tees.com. Reporting to the Director of E-commerce, this role plays a key part in driving revenue growth, optimizing campaign performance, and ensuring cohesive brand messaging across all digital touchpoints.
This position will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external agency partners to execute campaigns, analyze performance, and identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, retention, and overall site conversion. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, with a strong foundation in CRM and an interest in expanding into paid marketing channels.
RESPONSIBILITIESEmail & SMS (Primary Ownership)· Own the day-to-day execution of Email & SMS campaigns, including promotional sends, segmentation, and automated flows
· Partner with Merchandising, Creative, Copy, and Retail teams to develop campaign calendars and execute launches
· Maintain the e-commerce content calendar to ensure alignment across site, email/SMS, and other digital channels
· Optimize campaigns to drive engagement, retention, revenue, and subscriber growth
· Develop and execute A/B testing strategies and apply learnings to improve performance
· Build and manage customer segments and lifecycle cohorts to enhance personalization and conversion
Paid Marketing & Agency Support· Support the execution of paid media campaigns across channels such as paid social, search, and display
· Collaborate with external agencies to coordinate campaign launches, asset delivery, and timelines
· Assist in monitoring performance, budgets, and pacing across paid channels
· Help identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, ROAS, and overall channel efficiency
Insights & Analytics· Track and analyze KPIs across owned and paid channels to ensure performance against revenue goals
· Prepare and share weekly and monthly performance reports with internal teams and leadership
· Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize campaigns and marketing strategies
· Assist in testing new tools, technologies, and strategies to improve the digital customer experience
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES· Strong understanding of email marketing, including segmentation, automation, and campaign execution
· Familiarity with paid media channels and digital marketing fundamentals
· Experience with A/B testing and performance optimization
· Knowledge of UTMs, tracking, and attribution
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HTML/CSS and Adobe Photoshop is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS· 2+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer digital marketing (email/CRM focus required)
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
· Experience with Shopify Plus or similar e-commerce platforms
· Familiarity with ESPs such as Klaviyo and SMS marketing platforms
· Exposure to paid media channels or experience working with marketing agencies preferred
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
· Passion for fashion with an understanding of the competitive landscape and customer behavior

Salary Range: $ 60,000.00 to $ 72,000.00
