Job Title: Project Manager (Commercial Electrical)
Location: Bay Area, CA (San Jose to San Francisco, Oakland, Fremont and surrounding areas; TRAVEL IS REQUIRED)

Pay: $100,000 – $120,000 per year
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in commercial electrical construction. Projects range from large commercial and industrial developments to tenant improvements. This role requires travel throughout the Bay Area.
Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing electrical projects from start to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. This individual will manage field personnel, coordinate with internal departments, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical projects to meet budget, schedule, and quality requirements
- Oversee job forecasting and financial performance
- Lead pre-construction meetings and ensure smooth project handoff
- Coordinate with estimating, design, and prefabrication teams
- Provide direction and support to foremen and field electricians
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Address and resolve client concerns
- Prepare and manage change orders as needed
- Oversee project closeout procedures
- Conduct post-project evaluations
- Prepare accurate time and material estimates
- Review and approve invoices and work orders
- Maintain professional relationships within the industry
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Electrical Engineering preferred)
- 3–7 years of experience managing commercial electrical projects
- Experience with large-scale projects preferred
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Experience in electrical estimating
- Strong computer proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
