Position Summary:
The Wood Products Supply Chain Customer Service Representative plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction through superior service. The ideal candidate is motivated, action-oriented, and passionate about customer service. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers, providing accurate account support, and managing the order process efficiently. You will work with customers across the US while learning the workings of a fast-paced, metrics-driven organization.
Requirements:
Education / Experience:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of customer service experience, with sales or supply chain experience preferred
Skills / Competencies:
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, databases, etc.)
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Skilled at problem-solving and assessing situations for effective resolution
- Positive, collaborative attitude with a passion for customer service
- Highly organized with consistent follow-up and follow-through
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and strives to exceed expectations
- Open to giving and receiving feedback effectively
- Flexible to work varying hours as needed
