About Hush
Hush is a digital privacy and risk protection platform that protects executives, employees, and high-net-worth individuals from targeted cyber threats. Our platform discovers and removes personal information online to reduce the digital exposure that attackers use for impersonation, fraud, and cyber attacks.
We are looking for a Marketing Intern to support day-to-day marketing initiatives across email, social media, events, and content. This role is ideal for someone interested in cybersecurity, technology, or high-growth startups and who wants hands-on experience working across multiple areas of marketing.
This role is based in our Detroit office, can be part-time or full-time depending on availability, and is a paid internship.
Responsibilities
- Support execution of Hush’s marketing initiatives across multiple channels, including email, social media, events, and digital campaigns.
- Assist with creating and scheduling content for LinkedIn and other social platforms.
- Support email marketing efforts, including newsletters, campaign emails, and audience segmentation.
- Assist with planning and executing events, conferences, and speaking engagements.
- Help prepare marketing collateral such as one-pagers, presentations, and digital assets.
- Support content development including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and newsletters.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences.
- Assist with maintaining marketing systems and tracking campaign performance.
- Provide general support for day-to-day marketing operations and projects.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in cybersecurity, technology, startups, or digital privacy.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with a small team.
- Experience with social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) is a plus.
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Canva, or Google Analytics is a plus.
