Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and coach Entry-Writing and Customs House Brokerage (CHB) staff.
- Workflow Management: Assign accounts, distribute workloads, and establish departmental goals while tracking performance metrics.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with local Import Transportation teams and the Customs Brokerage Manager to enhance department performance and streamline workflows.
- Compliance & Troubleshooting: Resolve freight issues with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other Participating Government Agencies (PGAs).
- Quality Control: Audit files for accuracy, oversee the billing process, and manage file dwell time to ensure efficiency.
- Client Relations: Facilitate the onboarding of new clients based on sales agreements and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Technical Execution: Complete entry work as required and execute specialized projects assigned by senior leadership.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Accreditation: Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) required; Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) highly preferred.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working directly with U.S. Customs and regulatory agencies.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of U.S. Customs rules, regulations, and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification.
- Leadership: Proven experience in personnel supervision, training, and professional development.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
