Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Operations Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of construction project execution. This role is vital in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with advanced construction management software and tools. As a key driver of project success, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage resources efficiently, and uphold safety and compliance standards across all phases of construction operations.
Duties
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple construction projects from inception to completion
- Develop detailed project schedules using Houzz pro or similar project management software to ensure timely delivery
- Oversee construction estimating processes to accurately forecast costs and resource needs
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement activities to maintain budget control and project scope integrity
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Houzz pro for documentation, tracking progress, and quality assurance
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to schematics, blueprints, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with project teams on site logistics, resource allocation, and schedule adjustments as needed
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and safety compliance
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders including clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Review technical drawings like Civil 3D schematics to verify accuracy and feasibility before execution
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects
- Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling tools such as Houzz and Project management software
- Proficiency with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation (including Civil 3D), and contract administration
- Hands-on experience with construction management software like ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid or similar platforms Houzz or buildertrend
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict time management discipline
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team coordination and project management excellence
- Familiarity with construction site experience including site logistics planning and resource management
- Effective communication skills for clear project coordination across diverse teams
