Role Description
We are seeking a National Account Manager for Target for a full-time role located in Minneapolis. In this role, you will manage national retailer relationships and build partnerships to achieve sales targets and business growth. Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing sales strategies, analyzing sales performance data, identifying market opportunities, and managing account negotiations to enhance customer satisfaction. The National Account Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business outcomes with company goals, ensure timely order fulfillment, and effectively manage inventory planning.
Qualifications
- Experience with client relationship management, account management, and delivering exceptional customer support.
- Strong negotiation, sales strategy development, and business growth planning skills.
- Knowledge of data analysis and market trend identification for driving sales and competitive advantage.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite to track sales performance and report insights.
- Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities to handle complex account portfolios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional presentation abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with broader company objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Previous experience in managing accounts with global retailers or distributor partners is preferred.
- Knowledge of consumer products within kids’ play, home essentials, or celebration and seasonal categories is a plus.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, international, and multilingual team.
