The Position:
The RFP Financial Analyst & Project Coordinator will apply analytical and critical thinking skills to deliver effective analyses and recommendations in support of our various RFP consulting projects. The RFP Financial Analyst & Project Coordinator will work with internal and external teams to support project coordination/communication, data analysis and findings, insights and recommendation development, report writing and development, information collection and organization, RFP development, bidder analysis; in short, to do whatever it takes to make our customers happy and engaged. The position requires the ability to read, summarize, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from financial, written, and numerical material. The position also requires leadership skills to lead all analysis efforts within the team.
Duties include:
· Work primarily in the office with the RFP, Customer Success team, and consulting team (occasional remote work and travel)
· Collect, organize, and share information for each assigned project
· Analyze, summarize, and develop findings/recommendations based on collected data and information
· Use insights from stakeholders, program documentation, and customer discussions to inform the decision-making team
· Assist with the development and professional writing of reports (primarily in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
· Communicate effectively with others to exchange information, streamline processes, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely manner
· Assist with the development and professional writing of Requests for Proposal documents (RFPs)
· Obtain bids, conduct cost analyses, and negotiate prices and service levels as assigned
· Evaluate services for overall value (including price, quality, key performance indicators, service levels, etc.)
· Schedule and support/host customer calls and communications
· Maintain and update overall project status and open action items
· Assist internal teams with other duties and special projects
· Provide flexible, patient, and creative solutions to issues as they arise
Skills / Qualifications:
· Competence, timeliness, quality, organization, friendliness, and excellence are characteristics the individual must represent
· Bachelor’s degree required ( business-related field is strongly preferred) plus 2+ years of business analyst, procurement, or facility services experience. Will consider other relevant experience.
· Highly Proficient Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong financial management skills with understanding of spreadsheets
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills required
- Sense of urgency to meet internal and external customer requirements
· Must be a positive, hardworking person able to work successfully with a diverse group of users, customers, team members, and internal departments, as well as independently
· Adaptability: can handle multiple projects and customers, and wants to keep learning

Position Preferences:
· Experience with facilities or janitorial services and pricing
· Experience working in a procurement or sourcing specialist role
· Experience as a financial analyst or scheduler
