SUMMARY
The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing email marketing campaigns, while partnering with the marketing team to deliver high-quality, detail-driven initiatives.
This role is highly detail-oriented and execution-focused, with a strong emphasis on email marketing, database management, and content editing. The ideal candidate is organized, computer savvy, and experienced in marketing operations, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and pivot quickly as priorities evolve.

This is a full-time, in-office position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Email Marketing and Database Management:
- Build, format, and deploy email marketing campaigns
- Manage and maintain email marketing calendars and schedules
- Segment audiences and manage distribution lists for targeted campaigns
- Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date email databases
- Audit CRM and email lists to ensure data integrity, performance, and proper segmentation
- Identify and remove duplicates, inactive contacts, and outdated records
- Support development and execution of automated campaigns and client nurturing workflows
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, and send times to optimize performance
- Analyze campaign results and recommend improvements to increase engagement and conversions
- Ensure all email communications are properly formatted, tested, and error-free prior to deployment
- Test emails across devices, browsers, and inboxes, validating links, personalization fields, and dynamic content before launch
- Monitor email deliverability and follow best practices to maintain sender reputation
- Ensure compliance with email regulations and unsubscribe management
- Maintain CRM hygiene standards, including segmentation and data structure
Content Editing and Quality Control:
- Draft, edit, and proofread all marketing collateral and client-facing communications for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Coordinate with internal team, compliance, external editors, and graphic designers to develop and finalize marketing materials
- Manage the content review and approval process from draft through final execution
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail across all deliverables
- Collaborate with team to refine messaging and improve content effectiveness
- Serve as a final quality control checkpoint for all marketing communications
Marketing Execution, Data, and Reporting:
- Work closely with team members to execute campaigns across email and other marketing channels
- Take ownership of assigned campaign assets and ensure timely, accurate execution
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and execute with urgency
- Assist in campaign performance tracking
- Compile, organize, and analyze marketing data to support decision-making
- Track campaign performance and assist in generating reports and insights
- Conduct online research for marketing initiatives, trends, and competitors
- Support and collaborate on special projects and evolving marketing initiatives
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing or a related field is required.
- Strong editing, writing, and digital marketing coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with email marketing platforms, CMS tools, and basic HTML preferred.
- Ability to follow processes while also identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- High attention to detail is critical.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.
- Experience with HubSpot platforms is a plus.
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
