The Role
We’re looking for a high-performance, execution-driven Project Manager to lead and streamline our product development pipeline, managing up to 40 simultaneous projects. You’ll be the driving force behind our product development operations, ensuring every product—whether it’s a next-generation massager, vibrator, or innovative wellness device—moves seamlessly from concept to production.
You’ll work cross-functionally across design, engineering, and supply chain, liaising with our New York creative team and China-based factories to make things happen. This role requires a relentless problem solver, a master of project management tools, and a someone who thrives on structure, process improvement, and getting things done.
What You'll Do
- Own the entire product lifecycle, taking products from concept to market launch while ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Build and enforce structured processes, workflows, and best practices for efficient project execution.
- Lead and bridge communication between U.S. and China teams, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Communicate directly with our China teams (up a 1 hour per night) to resolve issues, drive solutions, and align teams.
- Use Gantt charts, Jira, and Teambition to track milestones, anticipate risks, and adjust strategies in real time.
- Leverage AI and automation technologies to streamline workflows and reduce manual administrative tasks.
- Understand and optimize manufacturing processes, injection molding, tooling, and plastic processing.
- Identify roadblocks early and develop solutions before they become problems.
Who You Are
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese – Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking is required.
- Project Management Expert – Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex, multi-team product development projects.
- Product Development Pro – Minimum 5 years of experience in toys, small appliances, consumer electronics, or a related field.
- A Process & Workflow Architect – Ability to design, document, train, and enforce efficient workflows.
- Tech-Smart & AI-Ready – Extensive experience using Jira, Teambition, and automation tools to optimize project management.
- Experienced with China-Based Suppliers – Proven ability to navigate vendor relationships, negotiate timelines, and ensure quality production.
- Engineering Background Preferred – Engineers with the required skill set are highly encouraged to apply.
- PMP Certification is a Major Plus.
