The Social Media Marketing Coordinator provides operational and administrative support in the execution of Crate & Barrel and Crate & Kids social media content. A dynamic, high-volume role designed for a proactive multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment at the intersection of design, retail, and digital trends. This person helps bring the brands to life by assisting with community management, engagement, and influencer logistics. The Coordinator works under the direction of the Social Media Manager to facilitate social strategies, content production, and influencer partnerships.
A day in the life as a Social Media Marketing Coordinator...
- Assist with daily community management for Crate & Barrel and Crate & Kids, including the technical scheduling of posts and monitoring real-time interactions to identify trends for the broader team.
- Help maintain community management standards and escalation logs, partnering with Customer Service to ensure inquiries are routed to the correct departments.
- Assist in the management of monthly social content calendars by scheduling and transferring approved outlines into the creative development process and utilizing scheduling platforms for final posting.
- Support the collection of data for always on monthly, campaign, and influencer reporting to help the team track performance against key KPIs.
- Support the curation of a library of on-brand User Generated Content (UGC) by identifying potential assets and managing the rights-request process.
- Execute social media tactics as directed, including coordinating social sweeps, social gifting logistics, and daily post deployment to grow external communities.
- Provide administrative support for influencer projects, including vendor setup, contract redlines, invoice processing, payment tracking, and ensuring influencers are vetted and authenticated in brand creator platforms such as Creator IQ and Skeepers
- Support the ideation and production of creative content by coordinating product/prop logistics.
- Act as a collaborative member of the social team by monitoring industry trends and sharing relevant updates with the internal team to influence best in class social first creative.
What You’ll Bring To The Table…
- Comfortable navigating all primary social platforms: Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, and Snapchat. Knowledge navigating social listening tools such as Creator IQ, Dash Social, ShopMy and ability to become expert in platform features.
- Ability to brainstorm ideas and share best practices that drive brand sentiment and engagement.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry and scheduling.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to follow directions and pivot tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
