Project Manager - PMP
What you are doing:
- Oversee all projects and programs specifically for our portfolio.
- Work closely with the business analysts, IT technical teams, vendors and internal stakeholders to provide an organized framework for projects, resources and dollars associated with our portfolio.
- Develop and Manage all projects within the portfolio.
- Oversee and coordinate various interrelated projects to ensure they benefit one another and meet overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including other project managers, IT team members, and senior management, to align project goals with organizational strategy.
- Develop and manage program budgets, resource management for IT and that projects are completed within scope.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of projects within the program, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Identify potential risks and issues within the program and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on program status, challenges, and achievements.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders regarding portfolio status.
What you need:
- Familiarity with project management software and tools to track progress and manage resources effectively.
- Ability to think strategically and solve problems, addressing potential roadblocks proactively.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate teams towards achieving program objectives.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise between different stakeholders and team members.
- Experience in portfolio management, project management with a strong understanding of project lifecycle and methodologies.
- PMP certificate
- Strong understanding of Microsoft products, and Monday.com
- Please anticipate at times to travel between 10-20% based on projects within your portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field
- Need to be Located in California or Texas
