Berkshire Brewing & Distributing is seeking an on- and off-premise Sales Representative to cover the North Shore. This role focuses on driving sales of the Berkshire Brewing Company portfolio—including Steel Rail Extra Pale Ale, Berkshire Lager, Dandy Lion Haze IPA, and more—alongside a diverse portfolio of 50+ beer, cider, and spirits brands. Founded in 1994, Berkshire Brewing Company is a leading Massachusetts-based brewery and full-service distributor with statewide reach.
Territory:
This position covers Malden through Newburyport.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute a structured weekly schedule including sales calls, appointments, and account maintenance visits
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while representing Berkshire Brewing Company at a high level
- Grow distribution within accounts through new draft placements (on-premise) and package placements (off-premise)
- Prospect and open new accounts across the territory; this role requires confidence in cold calling and closing new business
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections from customers
- Balance day-to-day sales responsibilities with operational and logistical coordination
- Participate in tastings, events, and beer festivals as needed
- Take on additional responsibilities as the role and territory evolve
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, high-energy, competitive, and results-driven
- Strong work ethic with the ability to operate independently in an autonomous environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales/alcohol industry experience preferred
- Prior alcohol sales or route sales experience strongly encouraged
- Comfortable with prospecting and new business development
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record required
- Must reside in the North Shore.
