Manufacturing/ Mechanical Engineer
Bison Inc., a leader in the Sporting Equipment industry, is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented entry level Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early career engineer to gain hands on experience and contribute to product innovation, manufacturing improvements, and continuous growth within a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, developing, and improving new and existing sporting equipment products and manufacturing processes.
- Create and modify 3D models and engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting production issues and implementing process improvements.
- Participate in plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives, including automation support and root-cause problem solving.
- Ensure all designs meet safety, performance, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and organized engineering documentation and follow established standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with CAD modeling; Autodesk Inventor CAD is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field required.
- Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or product development is a plus but not required.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
