Description:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to support residential solar and energy efficiency programs, including incentives, rebates, and high‑efficiency equipment initiatives. In this role, you’ll help ensure data is accurate, well‑governed, and meaningful for business users. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to transform complex data into trusted insights that support program and regulatory decision‑making.
This is a junior‑to‑early‑career analytics opportunity with strong mentorship, hands‑on learning, and exposure to data governance and analytics in a regulated environment.
What You’ll Do
- Review, validate, and analyze incoming program data
- Support data quality and data governance efforts
- Document data definitions, data dictionaries, and validation rules
- Identify data gaps and inconsistencies and partner with technical teams to resolve them
- Build, maintain, and enhance data pipelines
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Translate technical data into clear, business‑friendly insights
- Meet with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs
- Support self‑service analytics and help enable business users over time
- Act as a data steward and subject matter partner for assigned programs
Must‑Have Qualifications
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience or understanding of data quality and data governance concepts
- Python for data analysis
- Power BI dashboard development experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain data and insights to non‑technical audiences
- Comfort working with messy, incomplete, or undocumented data
Nice to Have
- Databricks experience (or willingness to learn)
- Jira or agile workflow tools
- Data pipeline development experience
- Exposure to regulated industries (utilities, energy, healthcare, finance)
- Experience supporting analytics training or enablement
