Position: Finance ERP Business Analyst
Reports To: Director of IT Systems and Operations
Location: Gretna, LA
Work Schedule: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. Alternating On Call Schedule for nights/weekends
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, IT support, or ERP systems (Required)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (AP, AR, GL, inventory, billing)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with SQL or reporting tools (required)
- Experience with system troubleshooting and user support
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication across technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Essential Job Duties:
- Assist in the maintenance and support of ERP/accounting systems, including user access, configurations, and issue resolution
- Support accounting functions by ensuring accurate data flow between operational systems and financial modules
- Troubleshoot system-related issues impacting invoicing, billing, inventory, and financial reporting
- Collaborate with Accounting to validate data accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Provide first-level support for system users, including Accounting, Operations, and administrative staff
- Assist in training users on system functionality, procedures, and best practices
- Create and maintain user guides, SOPs, and process documentation
- Generate and support financial and operational reports using ERP tools, SQL queries, or reporting software
- Assist in data imports, exports, and reconciliations across systems
- Assist with system upgrades, conversions, implementations, and integrations
- Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of new features or modules
- Provide backup support to the Director of IT as needed, ensuring continuity of system operations
- Participate in an alternating on-call schedule for nights and weekends and during periods when the Director is out of office (e.g., PTO)
- Respond to critical system issues and escalate as appropriate to maintain business continuity
Salary: $70-$80K
