Our client a family run insurance firm in Woburn, MA is looking for a Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative on a direct hire basis for a 37.5-40 hour/week position ASAP. The client is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team within the insurance industry. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional support and ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally. This position offers an engaging environment where your interpersonal skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to our clients’ positive experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and client inquiries
- Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, billing questions, and documentation
- Process personal lines endorsements (Auto, Home, Renters, etc.)
- Prepare insurance quotes and remarket policies as needed
- Review policies for accuracy and coverage gaps
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers
- Support renewal processes and identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in agency systems
Qualifications Needed:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a personal lines insurance agency
- Property & Casualty license preferred (must be willing to obtain if not licensed already)
- Strong technical and computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with rating systems is a plus
