Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and financial reporting activities. This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting close processes.
As Staff Accountant, you will manage general ledger activities, perform reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting and compliance efforts to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and monthly adjustments
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to support accurate financial reporting
- Perform bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice verification, payment processing, and aging review
- Assist in preparing financial statements and internal management reports
- Provide audit support and assist with tax filings or regulatory reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
What We’re Looking For:
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical approach to accounting tasks
- Ability to work independently and maintain accurate financial data
