Position Overview:
This role represents a dynamic opportunity for a high performing professional—ideally from an investment banking or similarly rigorous background—to step into a critical role on our Investor Relations team at TA. As an IR Associate, you’ll leverage your analytical, organizational, and communication skills to drive high-stakes fundraising and investor communications initiatives across a global platform.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the complexity of private equity but prefers to operate behind the scenes—owning projects and building materials that drive capital formation.
Responsibilities include:
- Respond to LP data and information requests, eventually becoming the primary owner of this workstream
- Assist with the preparation of sophisticated analyses to support investor communications
- Draft various formal investor communications, including new investment notifications and liquidity announcements
- Leverage data and industry information to conduct market and competitive analyses
- Produce investor presentation analyses and slides
- Support the Head of Investor Relations with the development of analytic tools and data that facilitate the review of portfolio performance
- Support and maintain worksheets and databases designed to track fundraising progress
- Coordinate the preparation of the firm’s Annual Meeting, including assisting with drafting key messages and materials and performing related analysis
- Support the Head of Investor Relations in various relationship management responsibilities, including roadshow planning, prospecting outreach and drafting of investor meeting prep materials across a dedicated geographic area for which the Associate is responsible
- Participate in investor calls and investor meetings
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic credentials
- 2-4 years of financial services experience in the investing space (e.g. investment banking, investment consulting, fund of funds, etc.); previous investor relations experience preferred
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
