Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Professional experience using a 3D CAD system (Creo, NX SolidWorks, etc.)
- Experience with machine tool design, tool modification, or other mechanical design elements
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to obtain a US Security clearance, US Citizenship required.

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time early career Mechanical Engineer to join our team in King of Prussia, PA!
In this role, you will perform duties of stress analysis, design engineering, and drafting of tooling designs for both mechanical and electrical systems. You will participate in issue resolution, and develop solutions to technical problems of varying complexity while assuring sound technical content and timely closure. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of 3-D modeling design tools such as CREO/SolidWorks and MATHCAD.
Desired Skills
- Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment)
- Experience in relatable tooling and fixture design of a product line
- Experience in determining efficiencies, optimizations utilizing factory product and/or process data
- Experience working in cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Experience with jigs and work holding fixtures
- Experience with Creo modeling
- Active Secret security clearance
