Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer (No Sponsorship Available)
Are you a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer experienced in providing technical leadership and hands-on engineering support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? This role is critical in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while driving continuous improvement across operations. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and support the successful launch of new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, development, and implementation of process and equipment improvements
- Design and modify machines, tooling, and plant equipment with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency
- Analyze production data to evaluate and sustain process improvements
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency
- Improve production quality and throughput while minimizing customer impact
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and events
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams on new product development to ensure manufacturability
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturing technologies and industry trends
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Develop and maintain process documentation and operating procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related Engineering discipline/field required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience working in manufacturing setting as a Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineer or closely related field required.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Work Environment: This role operates in both office and manufacturing settings. Exposure to noise, moving equipment, temperature changes, and airborne particles is expected. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in production areas.
