About the Role
This role is ideal for entry-level to mid-level professionals who are passionate about improving manufacturing processes, increasing production efficiency, and supporting quality and safety initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficient and reliable production processes
- Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assist with troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, reduce waste, and increase productivity
- Participate in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
- Support equipment installation, validation, and process qualification activities
- Monitor production metrics and prepare reports on efficiency, downtime, and quality performance
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Assist in new product introduction and manufacturing readiness activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 0–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and quality control principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies
- Familiarity with CAD software and ERP/MRP systems
- Internship or hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of process improvement tools such as root cause analysis, FMEA, or SPC
