Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Architect to join our design and construction team. In this role, you will lead the development of architectural projects from conceptual design through construction documentation, ensuring that all deliverables meet high standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. You will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to bring visionary ideas to life while adhering to project schedules, budgets, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Include
- Preparation and coordination of preliminary/schematic, design development, and construction drawings for various national design clients
- Drawing review and oversight
- Management of production staff
- Initiating and maintaining regular communication with clients and fellow employees as appropriate to current and developing projects
- Consistently and professionally working with clients and fellow employees from schematic design through construction administration to identify design challenges, objectives, solutions, and options and meet project objectives and deadlines
- Developing and maintaining project schedules for both in-house and external project schedules
- Perform building code and regulatory analysis
Qualifications
- Experience at project manager level position in an Architectural Studio
- Proven experience in architecture or related fields with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in drafting and design development
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe, and Bluebeam
- Customer driven individual, who is committed to deadlines and customer satisfaction and takes pride in every project
- Company minded individual committed to working with a team to produce the best possible results
- Degree in the field of Architecture / Design
- Knowledge of project scheduling tools and techniques; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of construction processes including budgeting, renovation procedures, and design principles
- Confidence in design ability and development of appropriate solutions for projects ranging in scale, quantity, and intensity
- Familiarity with building codes and regulatory standards is essential
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
