Assistant Designer, Loungewear
A well-known fashion brand is seeking an Assistant Designer to support the design and development of loungewear collections. This role will work closely with Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing, and Vendor teams to bring commercially successful products from concept through execution.
The ideal candidate is creative, trend-focused, and experienced in apparel design, with a strong understanding of product development, technical design, and market trends. This person should have a strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to balance creativity with execution.
Key Responsibilitie
- sCreate brand-right designs that support seasonal concepts and overall business objective
- sDevelop product with a focus on style, fit, fabric, color, and prin
- tCreate sketches, CADs, tech packs, and detailed design specification
- sResearch market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive product landscap
- eCollaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing, and Vendor partner
- sMaintain accurate line sheets and PLM data throughout the development proces
- sSupport fittings and assist in product development from concept to final executio
- nPrepare materials for presentations, meetings, and seasonal review
- sTrack timelines, deliverables, and key development milestone
