Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Landscape Designer and Project Manager to lead the design and execution of inspiring outdoor spaces. Duties
- Develop comprehensive landscape designs using software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to understand project goals, site conditions, and budget constraints.
- Prepare detailed construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and estimates for hardscape features like paving, retaining walls, and irrigation systems.
- Oversee all phases of project execution—from land surveying and site analysis to installation supervision—ensuring adherence to design intent and quality standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently while coordinating with subcontractors and vendors for landscaping, civil engineering, land surveying, and construction activities.
- Conduct site visits during construction to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Incorporate sustainable design principles such as water-efficient irrigation systems, native plantings, and eco-friendly materials into all projects.
Skills
- Proficiency in landscape design software including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe, and TopconGPS software
- Strong knowledge of horticulture practices and landscaping techniques to create thriving outdoor environments.
- Experience in construction estimating, project management methodologies, and land surveying processes.
- Familiarity with civil engineering concepts related to grading, drainage, irrigation systems, and sustainable site development.
- Ability to draft detailed plans using CAD software while integrating civil engineering specifications.
- Excellent communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices to ensure long-term project success; understanding of hardscape installation procedures. Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
