Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting practices. The Controller will oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities, while supporting strategic decision-making. Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage project budgets, cost controls, and financial forecasting for multiple construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor project costs, schedules, and profitability.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial processes.
- Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide leadership in project coordination efforts by integrating financial insights into project planning and execution.
- Support the development of construction estimates by leveraging construction estimating skills and blueprint reading expertise.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction finance or accounting with a strong understanding of construction site operations.
- Solid knowledge of project scheduling, project management principles, and construction site safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Pay: $100,000.00 per year
