Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact between customers and internal manufacturing teams. This role ensures customer orders are processed accurately, communicated clearly, and delivered on time by coordinating closely with production, scheduling, engineering, quality, shipping, and sales. The position plays a key role in customer satisfaction, demand management, and smooth production flow.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the frontline liaison for customers, responding to inquiries regarding orders, pricing, lead times, production status, and delivery schedules.
- Enter, review, and manage customer orders within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide timely and proactive communication to customers regarding order progress, changes, delays, or issues.
- Coordinate with production planning and scheduling teams to align customer demand with manufacturing capacity.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to clarify specifications, drawings, revisions, and compliance requirements.
Education and Certifications:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in customer service, manufacturing support, order management, or a related role.
- Demonstrated proficiency using ERP systems and basic data analysis tools.
