About the Role
Everest Building Consulting Group is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Mold Assessor to join our elite team of consultants. We provide high-level environmental and building inspections across Central Florida, and we are looking for a candidate who can balance technical expertise with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
In this role, you won't just be "checking boxes"—you will be the face of our firm, helping clients navigate property concerns with clarity and professionalism.
What You’ll Do
- Inspections: Conduct thorough residential and commercial building inspections to identify moisture intrusion, mold growth, and related issues.
- Sampling: Perform mold testing and environmental sampling according to industry standards.
- Documentation: Utilize company equipment to document site conditions and provide accurate data for final reporting.
- Client Relations: Deliver high-level customer service by explaining the inspection process and findings clearly to property owners.
- Advanced Certifications: You will be required to obtain Asbestos Certification (provided by the company) to take asbestos samples and participate in specialized Fire Assessment training.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in building inspections and/or mold testing is required.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of building systems, construction components, and moisture dynamics.
- Licensing: A Florida Mold Assessor License is preferred, but we are willing to hire the right candidate who is ready to obtain it.
- Professionalism: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Mobility: Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
