New Jersey Licensed Electrical Qualifier / Responsible Electrician (Part-Time / Consulting)
Vikta Energy is seeking a New Jersey Licensed Electrical Contractor / Qualified Master Electrician to partner with our growing renewable energy and electrical contracting company as we expand operations in New Jersey.
We are looking for a professional who wants more than a passive qualifier role. We value true partnership and are seeking someone interested in being involved in the success of our New Jersey operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the qualifying license holder / responsible electrician for New Jersey operations
- Assist with company electrical contractor licensing and compliance
- Provide code guidance and oversight for commercial and solar projects
- Support utility inspections, AHJ coordination, and interconnection requirements when needed
- Review processes to ensure adherence to New Jersey electrical code standards
- Offer occasional operational guidance as projects scale
Ideal Background:
- Active New Jersey Electrical Contractor / Master Electrician license in good standing
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or solar electrical work preferred
- Familiarity with utility inspections and municipal permitting processes
- Strong communication and professionalism
Compensation:
Competitive monthly retainer, consulting fees, project-based compensation, or custom structure based on involvement.
