About the Role
We are a small jewelry brand that puts a lot of care into everything we make and everything we
send. Our customers have come to expect a certain feeling from Nina Berenato Jewelry, and we
want our emails and texts to carry that same warmth and intention.
We are looking for a freelancer who genuinely loves this kind of work. Someone who gets
excited about a well-timed campaign, takes pride in getting the details right, and understands
that good marketing for a brand like ours is less about volume and more about connection.
You will report directly to our Founder and CEO, with biweekly check-ins to stay aligned.
Beyond that, you will have real ownership over the work. Creative direction and high-res assets
will come from our end. The rest is yours to bring to life.
What You Will Do
Email Campaigns
• Own the full email calendar in Klaviyo, from strategy and segmentation through build, QA,
and deployment
• Translate brand direction and campaign briefs into polished, conversion-focused layouts
using our provided photography and assets
• Craft or refine copy that reflects the Nina Berenato voice: considered, elevated, and
genuinely warm
• Build and maintain audience segments informed by purchase history, engagement
behavior, and customer lifecycle stage
• Design and execute A/B tests across subject lines, content, and CTAs, and apply findings
systematically to improve performance
SMS Campaigns
• Develop and execute SMS broadcasts that support product launches, promotions, and
seasonal priorities
• Architect and maintain automated SMS flows across the full customer journey, including
welcome, post-purchase, and re-engagement sequences
• Ensure SMS strategy works in concert with email, delivering a coherent brand experience
across every touchpoint
Graphic Design and Brand
• Produce campaign graphics in Canva, Figma, or Adobe that meet our brand standards
and hold up alongside our product photography
• Uphold visual and tonal consistency across every send, treating each campaign as a
direct extension of the Nina Berenato brand
Shopify POS
• Ensure campaign strategy is grounded in live Shopify POS data, including product
availability, customer profiles, and inventory movement
• Coordinate send timing with new arrivals, promotions, and retail activity to maximize
relevance and conversion
Performance and Reporting
• Monitor and report on core performance metrics including open rate, click-through rate,
conversion, and revenue attribution
• Deliver a concise monthly performance review with clear analysis and a prioritized set of
recommendations for the period ahead
What We Are Looking For
Required:
• 2 or more years working in Klaviyo
• Strong skill in customer segmentation & customer journey
• Strong design skills in Canva, Figma, or Adobe
• 2 or more years using an SMS platform such as Klaviyo SMS, Attentive, or
Mailchimp SMS
• Hands-on experience with Shopify POS, including customer segments and product
syncing
• Strong and proven copywriting skills with a feel for refined, brand-conscious
language
• Comfortable owning your work, managing your time, and staying on top of multiple
campaigns
• A good understanding of e-commerce and customer lifecycle marketing
Nice to Have
• Experience in jewelry, fashion, or lifestyle brands
• Familiarity with customer journey mapping
• Light photo editing or retouching skills
• A feel for seasonal retail and gifting cycles

We keep things simple and trust the people we work with. Here is what this looks like in
practice:
• Around 6-10 hours per week, with a little more flexibility during launches and key seasons
• Biweekly check-ins with the Founder and CEO to stay aligned on priorities
• You own the creative and execution process from brief to send
• Reviews and final approvals come from the Founder and CEO
• We provide high-res photography, brand assets, and creative direction
